Academic Programme

When in the jet age one can't afford not to know how to fly one.

The carefully designed curriculum at GDGPSJ offers a unique blend of nationally and internationally relevant subjects that are perfectly aligned with the needs of twenty-first century education and communication — and are also accepted by leading universities all over the world.

Pre-Primary Section: Nursery, KG & I

The Pre-Primary stage is the foundation of every child's basic education. At this stage, the child is introduced to the basic skills of learning through the Play - way method. The subjects taught will be English and Numeric Work. Hindi is introduced in the Kindergarten Section. Environment Awareness will be given through discussions, project work, demonstrations and excursions. A lot of emphasis is given to the Creative Arts and Physical activities through Music, Dance. Art and Craft, Physical Education, Taekwondo etc. They will also be introduced to a unique 21st Century Multi-Centre, a fully computerized Edutainment Centre which combines computer integrated learning with 3-D manipulations to enhance learning. The child adapts himself to the school surroundings and peer group. This propels his learning skills and enables him to develop a spirit of curiosity, which is the key to learning.



Primary Section: Std. II to V

The child is now familiar with the School environment and is exposed to more formal way of learning and testing. The subjects taught are English, Hindi, Maths, EVS, G.K. and Computers. Student of Class V are now introduced to an additional language. The curriculum is based on Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Middle school : VI - VIII 

The child is now maturing and the process of making him / her an honest and responsible member of the society has begun in earnest. The child can now easily distinguish between the good and the bad and is able to make his or her own decisions. The Subjects now become more detailed and specific and help the child in making decisions regarding his/her aim in life. Also the child now starts focusing on the activities he or she likes.

The curriculum for the middle section is broad-based and yet ensures special inputs for the child. It makes him/her good at mathematics and music, languages or organizational skills, science, or handling crisis or people. It anticipates the increasing range of opportunities and the astounding variety of careers, opening up due to the phenomenal developments unfolding in present times. The third language offered takes into consideration new economic trends and changing geo-political phenomena.

Spacious and airy classrooms of the outstanding academic block make learning comfortable and fun. At Goenka, the process of learning is ongoing and multi-pronged. A great deal of emphasis is placed on 'one-on-one' teaching, personal level workshops and interaction with people eminent in diverse fields. The positive teacher-student ratio allows each child to be treated as an individual. 

Secondary School: IX - X

Following the continuous and comprehensive evaluation system, the school will be starting its secondary classes. The teaching – learning process in this section aims to build uncompromising confidence in the students. Individual attention and practice creates the motivational environment gearing them for the examination. Exposure to an array of competitions, peer learning, remedial teaching and regular counseling sessions makes them ready to face the challenges of life ahead.
